About Sente
Sente Limited was established in 1993. The company primarily provides
software development. The particular aims of the company are to provide
bespoke development at a reasonable price and to an extremely high standard.
The company consists of 3 people:
Nik Allday
Nik is the principal member and managing director. Nik's primary function
is as software developer. In his computing career he has a masters degree
from North Staffordshire polytechnic. He worked for 5 years as a "versatile
computer programmer" at a communications company in the West End of London.
This was providing communication (promotional) material to large corporations,
mostly in the pharmaceutical sector. Nik's work ranged from producing small
computer based graphical promotional/educational material to complex multi
screen interactive consoles for large international exhibitions. He then
worked for a brief time developing interactive video within shopping malls.
Nik then branched out and began freelance work mainly for the pharmaceutical
sector. He then started Sente to give a more stable base for his software
development. Nik is a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS) and the Borland
User Group. He is also a Chartered Information Technology Professional
(CITP).
Chris Bazalgette
Chris is an experienced software engineer and has worked for many years
producing interactive promotional material for the pharmaceutical sector.
He has a degree in Philosophy and many years of freelance development
experience.
Ian Burden
Ian has a degree in Fine Art and has some legal training. He acts as
Creative director and advisor on an ad hoc basis for Sente.
